Rikenjaks: Reviews & Ratings
I have family in Texas. Rikenjacks was down the street from my daughter's house so we went and tried the crawfish. They were dam good. If that's what you want, look no further. Great atmosphere and can sit outside and play mini golf. Can't beat it
I love love love this place! I had the jambalaya pasta and it was perfect. The cheese sticks were great. The cheese fries wasn’t my favorite though. I brought 2 of my dogs and was welcomed. Will definitely be coming back on a regular basis especially for karaoke on Thursdays
Great place for families or for a night out for adults. Loved the design and atmosphere. The staff was very attentive!! Good food good prices cold beer
Connor was an amazing server. He did some great SERVICE RECOVERY! Great job tonight Connor! This young man and the curly haired guy getting ready for a competition were amazing! They worked hard at keeping the people at the door getting seated and had great customer service. They even called out to the group laughing and cutting out to come up front and get the door. The young ladies there tonight I would rate at 1 star. Just looked at you and didn’t engage after being seated in the outside area for way too long. Went inside and was seated quickly and the service was amazing!
I've visited a few times over the last 2 weeks while working in the area. Found service and food was hit or miss. I typically just sat myself at the outside bar. Where staff always seemed overwhelmed as there is typically only 1 bar tender trying to serve 25 guests at the bar and make drinks for the customers seated at tables. I arrived on a Friday evening, a little busier than the norm. Sat at an outside table (that was sticky and gross) and waited for a waitress for 20 minutes. We ended up waving one down and asked her if she knew where our waitress was. Shortly thereafter, the waitress who was waiting on the table next to us finally came over to take our order. Food also had a mixed review. After a few visits, the crawfish were either hot and fresh or cold and not. On my third visit, I ordered 5 lbs of crawfish. What came out was about 4 lbs of crawfish and a pound of just legs. I addressed this with the bartender, who just laughed and walked off. I then asked another waitress for a manager. The manager came over, and I showed her the portion of non-edible bits I was given. Agreeing that it was a bit excessive, she brought another pound of hot and fresh crawfish. Customer service that the bar staff should learn. We loved the atmosphere and all the fun activities to do onsite. This place could do a lot better. I'll pop in here and there and update my review as needed.
Finally decided to try the new location now that the "new restaurant" rush has subsided. All in all my wife and I really enjoyed it. Our server, Logan, was absolutely fantastic. Super polite, prompt, and attentive. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak and I had the 'backyard boil'. The CFS was phenomenal. Hand breaded and not some frozen patty you get most places. The potatoes weren't the powder mix instant stuff either. The seafood boil was likewise excellent. The food wasn't too pricy either which was nice. The one thing i could complain about is the time it took to get the seafood boil. I realise that those take a few minutes to prepare but my wife's food came out a good 15 minutes before mine. Ultimately it's a minor thing and I'd still recommend the place.
Great for a drink and to hang out. Service was ok. We got the nachos and they were average, not a lot of cheese, kinda basic. Hostess was a little overwhelming. Great atmosphere, mini golf was $7.50. Main positive for us was the patio is pet friendly! *Came back to enjoy Father's Day. Service has gotten better, food is still average. Need to have a beer menu for customers and knowledgeable staff on types when asked. But other than that, great day!
